I have ALWAYS loved butter & pancakes. I grew up in the 60's as a kid and I can still remember my Mom making me pancakes stacked 5 high with gobbs of government butter and Log Cabin syrup piled on top. I used to make her get the Log Cabin syrup that came in the tin container that looked like a cabin (hmmmm). But the best part of it was when I would have to ask her to cut the pancakes for me so I could eat them like slices of cake.
Today, I watch what I eat but I still make pancakes on special occasions for my oldest daughter and though she's too independent for me to cut her pancakes I still like to make them for her.
