So I was absent last week from Wednesday on because there was some security hole in IE 6 that apparently was very critical, so much that my work shut off Internet access for the whole time. Now obviously IE has security holes all of the time , but this is the first that my work has actually shut off access (unless this is a new policy that we haven't heard about).
And yeah, I know about other browsers and whatnot, but it's gotta be installed on work-wide scale, which for the federal government, is big and slow-moving, so I doubt it's gonna switch anytime soon. Heck, we're still on IE6 and 7 is out and 8 is in beta? or also out?
Anyway, just a little rant about my internet withdrawal last week...
