No, part of the latest rule changes indicated that my spells can be free as long as I have the mana available! I'll tap 2 and 2, and it will not matter.
But I really wish I had the mana now, because I thought I could use the Skysweeper's ability -- guess I should pay more attention, eh?

Right. Spider blocks the Roterothopter. Skysweeper chump blocks the Armorsmith.

Yup, sure enough, it wasn't the 5-mana "Kill your opponent" spell that I slipped into the deck.

Well, you played a good game (and got a handy draw, with all those flyers). I may or may not have made some mistakes along the way (probably), but you capitalized on my slow start. Well played, sir.

The number one thing you did: having and casting Lose Hope at the perfect time. I so thought my Tim would win out.

Good game!

Yeah, I drew that on my fourth draw, so yeah, I think your slow start helped me. Otherwise, Tim would have turned the tide.
