You should do fine in this... I was about to concede early on when you were pounding me... I didn't think I could recover, then I think you hit a pocket of mana or something and I was able to slowly crawl back.

With so many turns in my favor, it was only a matter of time before A) my luck ran out OR B) my good cards were all used. When I drew that WoG, my jaw dropped and I felt bad, but it didn't matter in the long run.
