Actually I do except for 1 Savannah.

You better break down what the deck is supposed to do; I'm still misplaying my Sneak deck 'cause I'm unfamiliar with it :)

Well... besides keeping your opponent's gy empty... you can remove attackers from the game with spurnmage...

prevent all damage to you or creature of choice from a source with shieldmage...

Pulsemage brings creatures from your gy to play...

Nullmage destorys artifacts or enchantments...

forcemage pumps your creatures with +1/+1 counters...

The basic jist is to activate the mages targetting cards in the gy, then respond by getting rid of those cards - night soil, steam claw, etc...

Your ability - from the mages still resolves, but you opponent gets no cards...

In the case of night soil - you make more 1/1 beat sticks...
honor the fallen - you gain mucho life...
selfless exorcist - beat stick and gy removal...

Worship is there to keep you alive from direct damage...
and the rector lets you get the worship, or night soil, whichever helps you most...

Kamahl fist of krosa is the fat man that beats down...

As for your Sneak deck - whats the new decklist - if you want - post it in the sneak thread, and I'll walk you through some scenarios... if you like...;)

Seems kind of odd that the Advocate's ability will continue to resolve even when the target cards are gone, but I can't find anything that says it won't work so I'll give it a try. It'll be an interesting decktype for my group, that's for sure. :)

I'll post my Sneak deck later in the week; don't have it with me right now.

The reason it works is as follows:

413.2a If the spell or ability specifies targets, it checks whether the targets are still legal. A target that’s removed from play, or from the zone designated by the spell or ability, is illegal. A target may also become illegal if its characteristics changed since the spell or ability was played or if an effect changed the text of the spell. If all targets are now illegal, the spell or ability is countered. If the spell or ability is not countered it will resolve normally, affecting only the targets that are still legal. If a target is illegal, the spell or ability can’t perform any actions on it or make the target perform any actions. If the spell or ability needs to know information about one or more targets that are now illegal, it will use the illegal targets’ current or last known information.

Since the targeted cards are gone, but the creature/artifact/enchantment is still there the spell sees a valid/legal target and does what it can...

Even with the shieldmage - the prevention shields are still set up...;)

I was thinking this was because it wouldn't work, because if you remove the cards then the targets are all illegal, so it wouldn't get to the sentence you bolded.

The mages work in that they not only target the cards, but also the card to be returned to play, the creature getting counters, the artifact/enchantment getting destroyed, creature getting removed from game, or the player/creature the shield goes up to protect...

In all instances, "A" target is still legal...

I actually think it would be a neat deck now that I look at it...

So by the ruling above if I casted say Decimate

Destroy target artifact, target creature, target enchantment, and target land
At the time of casting I've got legal tarets for all the requirements. Then someone responds by say sac'ing the creature I was targeting..by the ruling above the spell would still go off right?

Spidey's said it right...

And it's always based on whether or not the targets are all there to start with... even if not all there to end with...

Good example - People in a Dr.'s office all waiting to be seen. Some may have to go pick up kids from school and leave. When the Dr.'s ready for them and they're not there, the ones left in the waiting area will be attended to... if no one is left, then the doctor twiddles his thumbs...(nothing happens)

Okay - maybe it wasn't a good example...;)
