All right, let's see what I get...

Untap, upkeep - use the Guile... nope, no top deck for me.

I doubt we're playing these decks (or my deck) again, so here's my mistakes:
  • I shouldn't have attacked with the Rootwalla :)
  • Failing that, I should have attacked with the Factory on the turn after you attacked with Iwamori (which was the turn after my attack with the Rootwalla)
  • Failing that, I should have left the BoP untapped during that last attack so I could have Mana Leaked your Rend Flesh

I haven't played the deck in a while and I guess it shows...

My mistakes:
  • I had a Wear Away; I should have used it on your Mana Barbs immediately
  • Shouldn't have blocked the Walla with Iwamori; it only worked out because you forgot what Okina did, but it was on the table so I should have expected some kind of trick
  • Should have waited with making Iwamori 6/6 during that last attack; I already was going to Rend Flesh one of them, so I didn't need to set myself to three life (also known as Bolt Range)

This is an actual deck - I have the real cards for these, even the Library :)

I actually have several incarnations of this - I first built it in '95 and tried to keep it current until Tempest. Then I stopped playing Magic for a while so didn't get any physical cards. Restarted during the Odyssey block, hence the Mongrel and Rootwalla.

Looks like a fun deck to play; maybe not very consistent and it has some nonbo's (Hurricane and Manabarbs?) but very versatile.

How do you feel about a Mirage block Tribal deck?

Well, after adding the Odyssey cards, I never really had a chance to play it and test it out. I think later incarnations used Crosswinds instead of Hurricane, but I believe it's really for early defense against those cheap, small fliers.

Mirage Tribal sounds fine, but I gotta build a deck (and you know how long that takes me :) )

Regular.. I don't think there would be a lot of options if it was Highland Tribal Mirage Block :)

Oh, and are "Humans" a viable tribe? I mean, I guess they are since it's a creature type, but it just feels "cheesy"... although I haven't really been able to find a good set of other tribes in the block...

I noticed that the Humans seem to outnumber the other tribes..

I think it is kinda cheesy; the main reason for a block tribal deck is to limit choices.. and since it doesn't have to be Highlander, I think there are plenty to choose from.
