Basically what you do there is the following :
lets call N the number of times you eat chocolate
and D your date of birth. Consider D as a four digit number.
The operation proposed is the following :
multiply N by 2, add 5 and then multiply by 50.
add 1750
Translates into :
(Nx2+5)x50+1750
= Nx2x50 + 5x50 + 1750 (0r 1749)
= 100 x N + 2000
2000 - your date of birth = your age.
N the beginning number is the digit for the hundreds.
Basic 6th grade mathematics, at best.
