I waz wondering the same thing.
If somebody "set us the bomb" they were not very effective though. All our base [still] belong to us

From what Ed told me, the MySQL server was down, possibly as a result of a search engine "respidering" and - when it got to the CPA and hit all the threads pretty much all at once - overwhelmed the server.
It was down for at least 3 hours...
In any case, it was technically a problem with the server and not the result of any malign influence.

Forget monday, what about today?
between 1 and 5 I tried to get on. It let me all the way untill the title screen of the specific forums. then wouldn't let me in any of them.
Although that monday escapade actualy freeked me out. You guys have made me into a total cyber nerd. I figured the phyrexians got to us.

I didn't have a problem all day yesterday, especially between 1 and 3, which was when I logged off.
Did you try refreshing the screen? Sometimes you get a "Not Available" page and still get it a couple of minutes later, even if the page is okay (I think it has to do with buffering and your browser didn't actually go over the web and check to see if it's okay, it just used the "old" message).

Some internet security programs might cause a problem like the one you described, Daggertooth,
I used to use one that prevented any cookies from being sent to me without my permission, and I was unable to view the CPA Forums during that (very short) time.

After I replied to you, Daggertooth, I was reading the forums and when I got to Decks I think I got the same problem you did. I got to the page with all the threads but when I clicked on one I got the "Database is having a problem. Refresh or Try again later." This occurred in all the forums... from about 7:30 AM EST to 10:15 AM. I was going to write here about it but forgot as the day went on...
