I have a couple of question, just for general interest regardng sleeves (in dayly play not tournaments)

1) Do you use sleeves
2) how many decks do you have in sleeves
3) Are sleeves part of the Magic panoply for you? e.g. does the color / type of sleeves matter?
4) What is your preferred sleeve color
5) Do you select diferent sleeves colors depending on the deck ?
6) What style of sleeves would you like to see on the market (new design/color)
7) What makes you sleeve a deck (played often?, rarety of cards ?)
8) Any other comment on the subject ?

My answers :
1) Yes
2) 5
3) not really
4) no opinion
5) no
6) other colors, brown, yellow, different shades
7) If there are valuable cards in it. A deck with dual lands, craddle, morphling or cursed scroll for eample automatically goes in sleeves. Also If I play this deck often.

I could have sworn this question has come up but a search didn't find anything so...

When I play, I don't use sleeves. So pretty much everything else is moot.

The only thing that matter is my favorite deck goes in black backers and everything else go into 100 for a buck sleeves

1.) Yes, I do use sleeves.
2.) I have 3 of my tournament decks and 1 casual deck in sleeves (I now only keep 4 decks at a time together).
3.) What's panoply? Yes, sleeves is part of what I do with magic cards. I like colors and am anxiously awaiting for "White" sleeves to come out.
4.) Prefered colors: Black
5.) I use different sleeve colors to help me quickly identify my deck types.
Green is for I.B.C.
Blue is for Extended
Black is for Casual
and Red is for Type II
6.) I would like to see sleeves that turn different colors when the tempature of your hand rises or lowers, you know, like a mood ring? (Mood Sleeves :))
7.) I sleeve all of my cards when I play because I have so many of them I have to justify to myself that I always need to buy more. I just started to sleeve my Draft decks (I am pathetic, I used to hate those guys that did that.)
8.) Yes, didn't we cover this topic before? Someone said that only Black sleeves should be used and that the deck should be put in a mystical looking type decrepid box.

2. 3. My B/R Void deck that is my main Type 2 deck, my Red Ponza Type 2 experimental deck, and Friggin' Rizzo's Universal Net Deck that's my primary Extended deck (it happens to be Type 2 legal as well, except for the Snow-Covered Lands). That one will have a tourney report up someday. Yes, I'm going to play the UND in a tourney as well. :) I want it to WIN a game!

4. Black.
5. Nope, everything's black. Paint it black. Whatever.
6. Sleeves with 'Magic: The Gathering' would be neat... :)
7. If it has more than a few rares, I'll sleeve it - or if I intend to drag it to a tourney, in which case it makes shuffling more efficient.
8. Nopes.

Eh... sorta.

Yup. I use different colors for different decks. For instance, Sligh is in black sleeves, Replenish in Red. It's funny how many people will make assumptions based on your sleeves.:)

The most expensive deck, the deck I use most often, and the deck with my Mox Jet are sleeved.

Yes!

Right now, six.

They are an expression of style as well as practicality, if that's what you mean.

Blue, until I can get my paws on some of those spiffy silver and gold ones.

Yes, almost always a color that isn't in the deck (e.g. Rebels get red sleves, Sligh gets blue)

The design is pretty much set, but more colors! Yellow!

Obsession makes me sleeve muy decks! I even sleeve draft decks!

They must be black. Black sleeves tend to hide imperfections better, and generally last longer. And, since I made the decision to go black, all of the sleeves must be black (so I can just eventually sleeve everything and not worry about sleeving and desleeving)

Black

No, I just like the look and durability of black sleeves.

6) What style of sleeves would you like to see on the market (new design/color)

White sleeves... Maybe one with a universal back design (Magic, Star Wars, L5r Clans; pick your poison)

If the deck costs more thatn $50 bucks to make, sleeve it. Or, if I play in a tournament, the deck has to be sleeved (just my rule, not the dci's)

They need to be cheaper ;)

4) Black...I love black anyways...And the sleeves are nice and glossy
5) Whoever chooses sleeves to match their deck is a little bit kooky

7) Well, I always use sleeves...I never want to ruin any of my cards, even if their plague rats...And I use foils in my deck...( You have to protect my foiled Replenish deck )
8) Although I use sleeves all the time...I really can't shuffle with them...And I hate pile shuffling...Maybe my hands are too small...

5 nope all my decks are in dark green sleeves, because they looked black when i bought them but under better light they were dark green
6 i like to see backs of sleeves with magic creatures on them "oh black sleeves well i've got morphling sleeves"
7 like i said all my decks are sleeved but i play on floors and not so clean tables alot and i have lots of rare cards in the decks the only one you mentioned that i don't have in a deck is a cursed scroll
8 um have you ever seen played decks not in sleeves its kinda sickening the cards are all (for lack of a better word) screwed up

I think that they should make yellow sleeves as him holiness the Chaos Turtle suggested. However, they should put smilie faces on them. They could have different designs, with all of the different CPA smilies.:)

I use all red sleeves, just because the first sleeves I bought were red and I like consistency.

Red.

No, although a lot of people I know do.

I really don't care. I buy all red sleeves anyway.

Generally, I sleeve my best decks. Many of my best decks are rare-heavy, though.

I would sleeve every one of my decks, but I don't have enough storage space in my deck boxes. The sleeves double the thickness of a deck, and I already have a few decks lying in piles on my card desk.

mainly those that are played most often and that contain some of my more costly, and older set cards in order to keep them in better shape longer
