I'll tap the Depths for B and play Dark Ritual, then use the remaining mana from the Crypt and B from Dark Ritual to play Cabal Ritual, then I'll tap my Thran Quarry for U and sacrifice my Tinder Wall for RR. I'll pay UURRBBBB (everything in my mana pool) for Mind's Desire. This should have five storm copies.

You're tapped out and I believe the only manaless spell in your deck is Misdirection. Nothing I've played so far has targeted anything, but I want to make sure we're on the same page and that I'm not horribly wrong...

Come on Mind's Desire. Give me something awesome...

I assume that you meant U for either the Chromatic Sphere or the Rootwater Depths, otherwise you don't have 2 blue. Second, I assume you also want to not use everything in your mana pool, but rather just pay the 6 that Mind's Desire costs and leave BB. Third, check your math again, I think you end up with 5 Black mana rather than four. Ritual for 3, the use 1 plus the mana crypt mana for Cabal Ritual, so that's another 3 plus the 2 left over from the Dark Ritual. Fourth, I believe the you realize it, but it'll be 5 copies plus the original. Anyway, I've got a bad feeling about this and as a sidenote, if I do survive, how much mana do I get from the Mana Drain?

Actually, I typed "Blue" but figured I should go back and make it look consistent with the rest. I'll never get completely used to "U" meaning "blue."

It appears that my math was wrong in two places, which was, I think, what you meant. I should have actually had UUBBBBBRR and Mind's Desire would only have taken six of that, not eight as I originally said.

If it's okay, I'd actually like to use UUBBBR for Mind's Desire, floating BBR. I don't know how I was figuring it before. Hopefully my luck keeps up in this game, because my brain obviously isn't...

Fourth, I believe the you realize it, but it'll be 5 copies plus the original. Anyway, I've got a bad feeling about this and as a sidenote, if I do survive, how much mana do I get from the Mana Drain?

Yes, I did realize that (at least I realized something). If you survive, you get 2 from Mana Drain.

Edit: So, is that alright if I float BBR?

I'll pay five more life to draw a card with Bargain (I'm at 12). I'll play Chrome Mox imprinting Night's Whisper (storm 13). I'll tap the Chrome Mox for B and use the BBR I've floated to play Tendrils of Agony. It and all 13 storm copies are pointed at you.

Untap, upkeep, draw, Reflecting Pool, pitch ESG for G, Mana Vault. I'll tap the Vault, sac the Tinder Wall, and tap my lands, achieving UURR3 (storm 1) and play Time Spiral. Your Demonic Tutor is (probably) negated! I'll untap both of my lands off the Time Spiral, of course. So I have storm 2 and R floating in addition to a Gemstone Mine with one counter and a Reflecting Pool, both untapped.

Shield Sphere, Black Lotus, and I'll use the R and tap my Reflecting Pool for B to play Cabal Ritual. Storm 5 and BBB in my mana pool.

I'll sac the Lotus for UUU and use my last Gemstone Mine counter for G, playing Tinder Wall (no joke). I'll sac it for RR. Storm 6 and UUUBBBRR in my mana pool.

I'll Tinker away the Mana Vault for Memory Jar. Storm 7 and UUBBR in my mana pool.

I'll activate Memory Jar, setting aside my hand of 2 and drawing a new hand of 7 (you get a new hand as well).

Lion's Eye Diamond, Phyrexian Walker, Chrome Mox imprinting Rebuild. Storm 10 and UUBBR in my mana pool.

I'll tap the Chrome Mox for U and play Brain Freeze, targeting you. All 10 storm copies will also target you. Then I'll use my remaining mana to play Tendrils of Agony, pointing it and all 11 storm copies at you. Game?

Tinder Wall is quickly becoming my new favorite creature...

Yeah, that is game, I have now confirmed why I feared your deck more than anyone elses. What good is Trinisphere or anything else if it hits that fast?
