Does anyone on here buy cards from E-Bay, if so what cards do people buy?

Do you buy just quality singles that you are after or are people more interested in bulk 50000+ commons and a rare and 2 uncommons etc., i'm just quite interested as i may sell some of my collection :)

When I used to buy cards, I went to a store that bought collections. The guy that ran the Magic section of the store was nice enough to let us look through stuff that they hadn't sorted yet and buy whatever we wanted, so I was usually able to get the cards I was looking for.

Since I haven't played in months I just buy booster boxes from stores. Though, with the Ravnica lands being so cool, I may buy a tourney pack box or two as well. All my experiences buying stuff on ebay were silly, because it was just buying singles. I like buying boxes then trading for what I don't get out, rather than pay straight up for certain cards.

I might be interested in buying a collection if the deal is good enough and the cards are good.

I usally buy x4 all the common and uncommon cards of a set then go for individual rares if there's something I like or want for a deck.

I usually just buy singles of rares I need or trade around for them...

Umm... with Ravnica, I'm thinking about buying a booster box and a few tourney packs.

I buy my cards almost exclusively from ebay.

I usually buy 1 box just to get my fill of commons, uncommons, and a bit of trade-stock, then I buy 4-packs of cards I like that are cheap (under $10). I rarely buy 4-packs of chase cards.

And I will browse for cool older stuff to. You'll definitely be able to sell your older 4-packs, b/c ebay is where most people go to get that older stuff. Go to ebay and do a search on your card's completed auctions, that will give you an idea of what you'll get for it.

For instance, 4-packs of Type 1, Legacy or Extended tourney cards will often go for more than what they were when they were Type 2 legal.

Umm... from what I've learned from bulk commons and junk at card shops, you've basically been sitting on junk.

Basically what you do is sell your lots with a few good cards and that's how you get rid of them.

That's true, altho complete sets would sell or you could do the repacks thing.

but... who buys repacks?
On ebay alot of people, I realise they aren't usally anything to write home about but they do sell.Do small lots of like 20 with the 20 rares listed (maybe the uncommons too) and set the reserve at the value of one of the mid level rares and they will sell. It's gotta be better than what you would get for bulk lots.Keep in mind if you go bulk you have to include shipping, and the weight of the cards could make it more economical to just burn them to stay warm in the winter.

I wouldn't suggest trying to burn cards for warmth... Long story involving Poke'mon cards...

Anywho, I've never really been able to sell any repacks. I've been able to sell just about everything in lots though.
