A note on the Lizard - Spiderman was willing to pay 5, but since his "turn" was next, he would have immediately pulled in the income of 2, so effectively, it was only costing him 3 if he had gotten it. However, since he didn't he didn't gain that income and will need to wait until his next "turn" for income.
As it is, with a 40-point card on the line, he again immediately stopped the bidding:

Jigglypuff: Pass
I don't know about "sucking", but Spidey, you certainly haven't had much luck making your bids stick. Still, making someone pay more than they really want can work out in the long run (maybe
