In an attempt to bid a bit more agressively, Spiderman realized that a 50-point card is worth 5 gems, so he tried to get it for 4. Unfortunately for him, Gerode was ready for this. Bidding stops on round 2 (4 gems) with the following cards played:

Jigglypuff: Pass
Again, the bid goes to the Strike. It's a bit unusual that someone happens to Strike just at the right time so often. Pretty much anyone could have broken even by stopping the bid on the first round...
