After reading that last thread, I decided to throw out all the bids from last round and give the Parrot to Gerode, just because I felt sorry for him.... 
Yeah, whatever.... rkoelsch stopped the bidlock at 3 gems again and Gerode was ready for him:

So, for 3 more gems, Gerode ends up with an obnoxious chatterbox, but at least he has something....
