Take a good look at the art of Recoup. What do you see? Some guy in really bulky armour staring into a fire that looks like it has a burning ship in it?

Well I noticed something a while ago. Anyone remember that old British historical sitcom, Blackadder? Well, take the second series of Blackadder, the one during the Elizabethan period. Take a good look at Blackadder himself. Now look back at Recoup. Now look at both of them together.

Don't they just look so eerily similar?

Ah...well, you can still see the comparison between Blackadder and the guy on Recoup.

Yup, Blackadder and Mr.Bean both funny shows.Rowan Atkinson has a degree in engineering from oxford but chose acting.

They kinda look similiar but the guy from Recoup has a more "rugged" or weathered look to him; Blackadder's face seems more "smooth" and less lined.

Well of course. The shot of Blackadder is a still, whereas the image of Recoup is a painting. Try if you can, to imagine they were both the same medium, and try to imagine Blackadder in the same pose.

At least it doesn't look totally like Mr. Bean with a frilly outfit and a beard.
