Selecting 8th: GO WHITE WEENIE!!!

The last vote for 8th edition is between glorious anthem and crusade. I have only one thing to say:

VOTE CRUSADE!!! White weenie must return in full fury!

I have to say that this is a tough decision. But I have to favor Glorious Anthem(with the old art of course). I hated siding out crusades during mirror. but that could just be me.

Seriously though, Glorious Anthem is a better card - and Crusade's 2 mana cost helps it, but since it rarely gets cast on turn 2 anyway I favor the Anthem.

White already has crusade in Divine Sacrament. Beyond that, I don't want to risk my opponent's Mongrel turn white and surprising me.

I do have to say glorius anthem is the way to go - helping out opposing creatures is not cool...

especially if they're playing phantoms...

I miss Crusade terribly, but I voted for Glorious Anthem. Truly, I wouldn't mind seeing them alternating turns in the base sets.

That is just the coolest card ever. Screw Glorious Anthem, and flush it down the toilet like the rag it is! Sure, opposing creatures can be a hassle, but who the heck cares? You're good enough to deal with it, right? I know my white weenie deck was good with Crusade. No worries about siding it out. Against mirror you want more critters, so pop the Crusades and get more critters. Always worked for me.
Plus, Anthem is way too costly. There have been times when that one mana was critical in casting my Crusades. Had they been Anthems, I would have lost. Way too many times to count...

If Invasion block were still legal, I would have said Glorious Anthem.
But since it'll be out by the time 8E sees print...it's all about Crusade.
