I've finaly got my Seedborn Muse, Multi-player deck in good enough
shape to post it for some feedback. Its 70 cards, so it probably
looks a little out of control. We hardly ever use 60 card deck in
MP games so this should be ok. I haven't tryed it out yet and It'll
probably put a big target on my face but I've got to use those Muse.

(Note: Deck was made for 3-4 person games)

Big Poppa Smurf.dec

4 Seedborn Muse
4 Wall of Roots
4 Tradewind Rider
4 Wall of Blossoms
4 Birds of Paradise
3 Mystic Snake
2 Spike Weaver

4 Living Wish
4 Counterspell
3 Forbid
2 Capsize
1 Soothsaying
1 Squirrel Nest
1 Planar Portal
1 Soldevi Digger

7 Forest
8 Island
4 Yavimaya Coast
4 Tropical Island
3 Gaea's Cradle
2 Soldevi Excavations

Edit: Wish Targets?

Genesis
Morphling
Gilded Drake
Alexi, Zephyr Mage
Kamahl, Fist of Krosa
Nemata, Grove Guardian

I'm officially sad to see that the muse shares deck space with Morphling...

However - I do hope it works quite well for you...

Maybe some Living wishes?...

Living Wish is a good idea. That way I could wish for a Gilded
Drake or Genesis.

I can replace Superman, I just need a few suggestions.

Nice design, really. You probably already got this, but don't forget to tradewind your mystic snakes!

CounterSnake every turn(if need be) is part of the plan.:D

I prefer he not be played at all... but considering you'd want to win - you don't have to replace him - I think running 4 living wishes allows you to go get any of the following...

2 Morphling
2 Spike Weaver
1 Alexi, Zephyr Mage
1 Kamahl, Fist of Krosa

And it would then leave open 2 more spots in your deck for utility...

The reason it would work better this way - IMO - is because your chances of drawing 1 of these are not too great - but in running the wishes - you can go get which suits you best... at the time...

Maybe wall of tears... or utopia tree?...

Seedborn Muse is the most powerful multiplayer creature ever printed. It's like taking Time Walks every turn. I blew up my Defense of the Heart to get Seedborn Muse and Sliver Queen...and had 25 guys swinging on my next turn. Throw in random things like Arcanis, Elvish Piper, Planar Portal, Call of the Wild, Ambassador Laquatas...basically anything that requires mana or tapping.

Or group games have degenerated into who can keep a Seedborn Muse on the table longest.

She's a monster alright...

"About time green had something that strong!!!..."

What about Pemmin's Aura which could feed multiple untaps/bounce for the Tradewind Ridres..also good protection for the Muse.

Don't take this the wrong way reverend - but pemmin's is blue!!!...

Now since that was the obvious...

I really think that the seedborn would be great on it's own, and you can run stuff in green/white that makes your creatures untouchables...

Not to be 1 sided(though I am) I will say that for blue - pemmin's with the tradewind would be downright nasty...

too nasty!... that's why it's illegal...

I have ruled...:)

when i first traded for 4 of the seedborn killer, I thought i could untap more than once if I had more than 1 in play!!

I was so disappointed I traded 2 of them.

The deck looks good, but why rely on no aggression in that deck?

Superman? come on, feature some bad cards so the focus is on the muse. It can win without Superman, can't it?

You might as well add Nemata and Opposition. That means only instand speed enchantment removal can stop you.

They'll want to give up.

But you don't want them to give up - you want to beat them down with your mad combo!!!...

"I know - too excited sometimes..."

Nemata,... yes, I forgot about her.

As for other win conditions(besides Superman) Kamahl, Squirrel
Nest and/or Gilded Drake was/is my plan.

Opposition would also be a good idea. I may add a few. I'm not
sure if I really want to enrage the table.

Thanks for the suggestions.:)

you could also go intruder alarm with a man-land... fits the squirrel nest perfectly...;)

"Before your upkeep I tap all of your non-enchantment permanents with these squirrel and saproling tokens here...."

You have to try it

It is a better feeling than "Capsize your forest."

But it's also more annoying - and I'm one to introduce the "closed-fist of train" to the opponent...

It's more annoying because you don't get to play anything...

With Capsize - unless they have a horde of mana out - you gte to keep playing something - and you tie up their mana with bouncing your threat...

I'd like to mention though -

"To beat blue - you had to use blue..." ;)

Static and Winter are two of the bluest artifacts I've ever seen...

What's sad is Stasis and Winter orb appeared with Counterspell in the same set... Alpha...
