Tell me, how do you think the enviroment would be effected if School of the Unseen was re-printed?
Heres the card:

School of the Unseen
Land
T: Add one colorless mana to your mana pool.
2, T: Add one mana of any color to your mana pool.
After the terrible retribution visited upon Lat-Nam, this school of mages chose to hide from the eyes of the world.
Illus. Pat Morrissey

Would it replace City of Brass? Should it? I dont know, I just saw this card and thought it looked promising. Your thoughts?

School of the Unseen has already been reprinted. It is identical to Henge of Ramos, from Mercadian Masques. Now you know all you need to know about how useful that card is. :p

I don't think that card is good enough to be a substitute for City of Brass...With the School, you have to pump 2 mana in, get 1 out, so theres 1 mana that is gone and unused...But with Brass you can always use the mana, wo cares if you have to take 1 damage if you can get that spell out earlier than you could with the School...I personally the damage is a small drawback...

I guess I can only School useful in late game, or some insane deck with tons of land, mana creatures and the like...But I'd rather play with Brass in general...

Yeah, it IS back, under a new name. The beauty of city is first turn any mana you want, and it's drawback is almost negligable (Not counting the port-o-problem, mind you)

None at all. This is a case where too many other cards that are blatant upgrades are already in place.

Gemstone Mine is the closest thing to the world's Quasi-City. I have high hopes for its return.

Ick. Sorry, no. Gemstone Mine is WAY too strong in the current environment, especially if you consider it in conjunction with the Lairs.

School of the Unseen and the Ramos remix are SOME BAD non-basic lands. For me, City of Brass and the five allied colored pain lands are the best non-basic lands around. Now if they only would come up with equivalent enemy colored pain lands I could die tomorrow ;).

You can't replace the original. Period. Wizards CANNOT hope to top the original Dual Lands or City of Brass, unless they print something like

City of Gold
Tap: Add mana of every color :)

, which will be the day many people will quit Magic.

Five mana produced with the tapping of one land!? One of each color!? Yeah, I'd say that would be the day :).
As long as Dual lands exsist, regardless if they're tourney legal or not, I'll always find a place to play with them. So if Wiz Co. nevers prints a great non-basic land again, so be it, I am with DUALS!!!!!
