Send me your answers by Tuesday 12am GMT (Monday 7pm EDT)

Maybe this one will be easier... remember when choosing that you can only use each word once - and you want to avoid choosing things which might be used in different categories to be safest.

Adjectives will be stripped from answers - Brand Names will not be.

Well, probably half those are in these forums... and don't really add much to Casual Magic...

But thanks for noticing (I didn't)...

One potential change for later... giving a penalty for later answers - like 1 point per day... that'll fix the researchers who want to take a full week to come up with their answers... (so maybe +1 points for same day, 0 for next day answers, -1 for 3rd day, etc) I know that's been one concern - hasn't shown to be true... but there is that concern.

I don't know, people aren't always on right away and even when they are they (I) don't always want to have to deal with this right away. Besides, with the power of the internet, I don't need days to do the research for this.

I thought about doing that penalty thing for Beyond Balderdash... :)

But yeah, I don't think about this when I first get on. Plus, since everyone has access to the Internet and can research, it's still a level playing field...

Mooseman, you're right -- it is based on the honor system. But those who choose not to honor it better do it fast, rather than lose their "hard-earned" points.

You get a 3 minute egg timer in the game... it'd be best if you only had 3 minutes to respond... but it's simply too hard to do that... I think most people don't research, but some do...

I guess... One thing I could do is PM the categories and letter - and give a player 5 minutes to PM me the answer (I'd have to wait until we were both online for that though)...

Well, I'll admit to researching it, just because as I've mentioned before, I'm terrible at this game. Even then, I can tell you I didn't fill in a lot of the categories from Question 1, but I figured having another player is better than not participating at all. And I still got zero points, so I don't think anyone's worried about me :)

Good show Moose! I am also not researching, as I want to see how my own personal knowledge stands up to the power of Al Gore (er, the internet).

I thought we were allowed to research since it's an online version. If not, please say so and I'll stop doing it.

To me, the important thing was always the level playing field. Just because you can find 100 possible responses doesn't mean they are good responses...

I'll agree with EB on this one. If some aren't using internet for searching on this, it can create an unfair advantage.

I have used internet for this game (have not for other games).

Let's see how the points turn out. If those who use internet have a lopsided dvantage, then we should throw the round out and do a new round. If there isn't, then just keep going.
