Ok, the only question I have in regards to this one is the Biblical Reference. What exactly do you mean by that? Are we talking a location, event, passage, etc....???

I went ahead and submited my answers, but would like to reserve the right to change that one if I did not comply with what it is looking for.

I meant, person, place, thing, or book (like Genesis)... not a passage or quote. The point is I want something you'd find in the bible - and not something unspecific... like "word" or any word per se. If I asked someone on the street where "nnn" comes from, most should say the Bible.

I thought about clarifying it... and should have. I just thought it'd be something different as a category. coming up with categories is sorta fun... but sorta challenging. I really like the "something you'd see in..." ones, since you can't really research those (though we aren't doing internet research any more).

Thanks.

Trashman! Are you the last to put in their answers?
Why post them and not PM them?

You do realize all your wine answers cancel each other out......

Ransac

Crap, crap, crap.... I didn't mean to post them

Well, only you saw them, so hopefully I'm not totally screwed.

And I don't see any reason why those different instances of the word "wine" would cancel each other out. They are used in completely different ways.

If they DO cancel each other out, then our concepts of this game drastically differ.

A few notes:

Ransac, I didn't take off completely for Wine... You really should use a word only once, although as you pointed out, you used it in different ways... Wine Grapes are a type of grape, and Wine glasses are a type of glass... I did take it off in White Wine, since Water to Wine and White Wine are talking about a similar substance to me... Also, Goblin War Machine starts w/ G... as a title, you can't really change word order to make it work (unlike people - where you can list them first last or last, first...)

For some reason, I only did 10 categories instead of my normal 12... sorry bout that...

Round 5 Scores:

DarthFerret: 8
Ransac: 7
EricBess: 6
Spidey: 6
Mooseman: 5

Final totals...

Wow.... After 5 rounds... Close Close finish at top 3...

Ransac - 48
Mooseman - 43

Um, I do have one small correction BB - go back and read my PM. My response to something you would see in a Magic Show was "Wand". Since Mooseman put that anyway, it really doesn't make a significant impact. I guess I didn't make it clear enough that I was joking about the Elmer Fudd magic show, but I thought I had made it clear that my real response was "Wand". Sorry.

In short, it was fun. Nice job, DF. I could have sworn Ransac was going to win this with some of his really off-the-wall answers :D Beating him out by one point...hehehe :p

BB - Great job. Having run some of these games before, I know how difficult it can be to come up with good categories. Thanks for running it.

I knew it was a joke... I also knew it wouldn't really matter by then... So I left it...

To average almost 10 points a round is pretty good - especially since I only gave 10 categories the last round on accident.

Wow, I can't believe no one else put World Cup or Whiskey... I got more points when we didn't use the Net  Good game everyone!

I noticed that too Spidey. Not using the net usually put me in the higher point total. Go figure...

Not sure how I missed the category about stuff in a magic show. Did not even answer that one. Wow, I guess my eyes glazed right over that one.

It is an honor to be tied up with ya EB, and to be 1 pt above ya Ransac.
