Interesting to say the least. That's certainly a lot of saprolings you might could get. Is burst really pulling its weight here though? You play the deck so you'd know better than me, but a deck like this might like more card drawing instead, or even better, you might like Dwell on the Past and/or Gaea's Blessing. Considering all the cards you'll draw with Unconcious, it'll be good to recycle stuff into a small library.

it actually could use more card drawing, burst pulls weight here and there but its a insta kill with one coat of arms

i was thinkin about puttin in two slate of ancestry but i dont know what id take out,

also maindecking two steely resolves same problem tho

If you want to be very evil, Skullclamp would turn this deck into a menace.

If you don't want to be quite so evil, Symbiotic Deployment is actually pretty good, you just need to be careful of mass destruction. I ran them with Bind to help protect against Deed/Disk.

Swap out 1 Cradle for 1 Crop Rotation. 4 Cradle's is risky, but the Crop helps reduce the risk of getting that 2nd Cradle stuck in your hand. It also allows you to Cradle for huge mana, sac the Cradle and get another for huge mana.

Night Soil is good if your opponents are playing alot of Recursion decks.

If you are looking for non-saproling token generators, Deranged Hermit and Beacon of Creation are quite strong.

Tribal Unity and Echoing Truth are also excellent with Saprolings, and should win the game when cast.

I think slate of ancestry is a good idea, as is symbiotic deployment, (Forgot about that one - I used to run it in my squirrel nest/Solitary confinement deck). Frankly I'd take out the bursts for Slates and Deployments. Also, stuff that puts cards in your graveyard back into your deck will be killer here, trust me. Once you get going you're going to draw so many cards and graveyard recursion is great once your libary is small because you are very likely to draw the cards you dump back in. Biorythm is cute but not necessary.

Here's what I would honestly do:

-4 Saproling Bursts
-2 Biorythm

+2 Slate of Ancestry
+4 Dwell on the Past

Also, re organizing your mana dudes a bit and including crop rotation is actually a good idea too.

dwell on the past is weak, and considering ive only deck my self in over 50+ games i think im safe in the area but 2 Slate of Ancestry is a good idea, the biorhythms stay as its a multiplayer bomb, ill cut two bursts for 2 slates

Crop Rotation is a must here in addition to the reasons Mikey listed, It is also a good deck thinner. I would definitely consider adding Echoing Truth. Whether Elves or Saprolings, it will be a bomb and will definitely provide a good finisher.

Another cool card for this deck would be Epic Struggle.

If you could splash one of those, It would be a cool alternate kill mech......especially seeing how easy it is to get 20 creatures.

If you want some real fun.....try Darksteel Gargoyle + Wrath of God + Biorythm.....

wow thx for all the replys and insight so far guys, ive went the epic struggle route and its a little shaky

Oversoul

The Tentacled One
What was that combo?

Wasn't it Saproling Cluster, Ashnod's Altar, and Fecundity that went crazy?

Its actually Echoing Courage (I always confuse the green and blue ones). Saproling tokens are considered to have the same name, so they all get +2/+2 at instant speed.

Also, Crop Rotation is restricted in Type 1.

Duh...yeah! (To self: what a sucker!) :D

Oo, final thought: Concordant Crossroads. Its nice with tokens and elves, though you need to be careful of what you are giving your opponents. Tangle is a nice sister card to it, though you can run Crossroads by itself.

id rather run coats instead of echoing courage, good idea tho, and i have taken concordant crossroads into consideration ill have to do some play testing with it tho.

also crop rotation is restricted in t1 but not t1.5 which this deck qualifies for ;)

About Dwell on the Past: I didn't suggest it as decking prevention - you don't need that because all of your card drawing is optional. I suggested it for resiliency. It's not about side-stepping decking, it's about abusing a tiny library by shuffling powerful cards back into it because you'll have a high probability of drawing them again. It's about putting your threats back into your deck after a board sweep affect. I mentioned your card drawing because I wanted to point out that once you get going you can plow through your deck as fast as you want, then you can control your later draws by shuffling the good stuff back in.

Also: On further examination I agree that Biorythm is in fact a bomb here.
