Sam and Max game help needed

Has anyone here ever played Sam and Max hit the road?

I need to find out how to stop the rotating tower/banoculars on frog rock.

What buttons do I push? I can't figure it out!

That's the most inf---ing hilarious game ever . End of story. Sadly, I haven't played in years (lost CD ) I'll tell ya if I ever remmber.
