Since the Deck section has been so dead recently, I decided to re-post an updated version of one of my favorite decks - the Legend deck. The original posting can be found here: http://casualplayers.org/forums/showthread.php?threadid=3973&perpage=15&pagenumber=1
I was inspired to do this after a game the other night. It was the first time I had picked up the deck in awhile (after a slew of consecutive setbacks) and it performed quite admirably for me.
The deck
Creatures 19
4 Captain Sisay
1 Crosis
1 Rith
1 Treva (Gerrard?)
1 Spirit of the Night
1 Mageta
1 Hanna, Ship's Navigator
1 Reya, Dawn Bringer (who combos with the next 2 cards)
1 Ertai the Corrupted
1 Braids
1 Kamahl
1 Llawan, Cephalid Empress (gets rid of tough to deal w/ creatures like Iridescent Angel and Morphling - Maybe this should be Dromar?)
4 Vine Trellis
Artifacts 5
4 Belbe's Portal (Legends are a creature type)
1 Legacy Weapon (can be snagged by the Captain)
Enchantments 6
3 Pernicious Deed
2 Aura Shards (Seal of Cleansing Might be better)
1 Standstill (combos with Hanna and Belbe's Portal)
Spells 7
4 Nature's Lore (fetches forest duals)
2 Allied Strategies
1 E. Tutor (maybe it should be Demonic?)
Mana 23
1 Sol Ring
2 Karakas (bounce a Legend back to your hand)
1 Yavimaya Hollow
1 Kor Haven
4 Savannah
4 Tropical Island
4 Taiga
3 Bayou
3 Tundra
A card I want for the deck - Ayesha Tanaka.

My favorite part about this deck is that the 2 most important cards (Captain and Belbe's Portal) cost about $.50 each. Its pretty easy to build, and I've run a ton of different versions.
If you don't have the duals, you can easily turn this into a domain deck.
You can make it enchantment heavy with a Sterling Grove/Hanna foucs.
You can even go Tinker with it I suppose, which I haven't tried yet but it would be fun.
If you are going to try to build something like this, I heavily recommend Karakas, Kor Haven, and Yavimaya Hollow as they can all be snagged by Captain. I've also found that Pernicious Deed is a very good sweep spell for this deck since your creatures (and Portal) are all 5 mana and up.
Give it a shot, its a fun deck. Any suggestions for my build are welcome.
