The most shocking thing in that article is the fact that they just threw the giant Hurloon Minotaur's head in the garbage... :( I've always wanted to see it... :(

I'm the only one here that found that article to be a piece of revolting tabloid trash, aren't I? I mean sure, maybe it's a little informative to tell us all about the sex and uh...the sex...and...

He went on for two pages about who was screwing who and how often they were screwing. It's not journalism, it's disgusting gossip.

That's the same thing I thought when reading it. I mean, how do we know he's not just making the whole thing up? And what was the point of the article, just to tell us all the stuff that went on at WotC that no one knows about?

Agreed. The article was so frikkin' cool for the first page...still interesting the second (after four reboots because that GOD D' MOTHERF' piese-O-S' Ford ad kept crashing my system)...but bye the third page I wondered..."This is the geek way of standing on the lunchroom table, yelling 'I got laid last night!' and not be assailed by the bigger kids who didn't care or knew better."

When I started the article it was very believable and very intriguing. But when all the sex started popping up I got the impression it was just someone living out an online fantasy. I posted it to see if others came to the same conclusion. I think there might be some truth in there somewhere but I wouldn't hazard a guess where.

Who knows if there was any truth to that or not? I just took it with a grain of salt, and laughed and enjoyed it. Even if it's totally bogus, it's an entertaining read.

Well, it may have some basis in truth while being embellished.

On one hand, it purportedly comes from an ex-WOTC employee.

On the other, maybe he has an ax to grind...

However, an article in a recent Computer Gaming World states that the atmosphere of early PC game companies in the 80's was that of an "old boy, sexist-type", so that why I think there could be some truth in it.

Mondays part is up!!! You'll have to go to the last segment of part one and click on the link. Its kinda odd to hear the history of WOTC is much different than the norm. But then again, they are one of the only CCG manufacturers in the world, so we can cut some slack.
