Repeated Untapping for HUGE art. mana.

I was thinking about running a green/blue deck that uses creatures to untap other creatures that provide huge boosts to artifact mana.

I immediately thought of

Vedalken Engineer tap for 2 colorless.
Wizard Apprentice, U= 3 colorless

maybe using seeker of skybreaks, puppeteer, instill energy, Aphetto Alchemist.

you could pay U for 3, untap with seeker, pay U for 6, activate instill energy on seeker to untap, pay U, 9 mana for artifacts..

maybe even vitalize..

It would need something extra... maybe wizards that counter a particular spell unless they pay 1... i mean 2.... er... 3... er... 4, etc

Krosan Restorer might be nice. With threshold you can untap any 3 lands and the mana can be used for more than artifacts. (Inifinite mana combo with pemmin's aura, also nice with thawing glaciers).

Quirion Ranger might be interesting too and Seedborn Muse is always nasty.

With that much untapping Tim can be very deadly.

Artifact mana? That term is usually applied to stuff like Thran Dynamo or Lion's Eye Diamond...

What are you going to do with all that mana only useable for artifacts? Darksteel Collosus? Goblin Cannon? Pentavus?

I also wanted to do something with those Vedalken engineers.
I put them in a mono blue deck full of expensive artifact creatures (triskelion, mirror golem & duplicant all 4x) and added Dragon Wings (that blue creature enchantment from scourge).

This is what the deck looks like so far.

4x veldalken engineers

4x triskelion
4x mirror golem
4x duplicant

4x dragon wings
4x aether spellbomb
4x chrystal shard

I still need to add some cards, but I'm not sure what. Any ideas?
