Anyway, I don't think this is a "useless" or "pointless" thread, since IT DOES make a POINT and some are USING it!
AND even if it was a stupid thread, I still got replies, why? Let's just say it's something I learned, maybe um, telepathical charm, is it? Could be...NO HAPPY FACE SINCE I'M BEING SERIOUS.
Or it could be what my friend, Sageridder said: "soul stealing" or whatever.
BTW Sage, I in real life, JUST LIKE Rebrouge, I do pay 2/3s of my life for somethings sometimes. Like when I want an "A" on a test, I would pay 2/3s of my life to MAKE sure I get an "A", or, if I want a girl to just come and flirt with me, I would pay 2/3s, again, to get what I wish, YEAH RIGHT!

How is something relevant to off topic? I thought off topic was for things that aren't relevant to any other forum.
I was wondering who was going to ask this...
Being an optimist in hoping topics on this site would remain "highbrow", probably stuff that REALLY doesn't need to be in Off-Topic (or anywhere, and besides the obvious spam like that pyramid post a while back) would be:
Posts announcing you've reached X posts (I mean, come on, we all can see you've reached X posts. I know now it's gotten to be an initiation deal but...)
Stuff like the original of this post where it looks like personal business with individuals (which we've already talked about)
Posts that are sort of inane in announcing "I'm bored, let's start something" (that's why there's a chatroom and if you can't use that, there's million stuff to do out on the web!
And probably other stuff that I'm sure will come to mind once I see it...
This is all my personal opinion, of course, and not meant as a slam towards those that originate such posts. I still read them, dumb as I am... But since you asked, that's what I think of stuff that shouldn't really have to be posted.
