Is anyone here signed up with them? It's supposed to be a giant playtesting group, but they only have 10 members, including me. They post 10 decks a week, and each member plays 10 games, and sends results back, and gets the results of everyone else compiled. Sounds good when it works, but it's bad when it doesn't.

If anyone is interested in joining, so I can actually have someone to play against on apprentice, the address is http://www.puppethq.com .

Yeah, I checked out their site. A member of Team CMU (Nate Heiss) has a website called "The Magic Word" which has a link to the PSA. It's cool, but I don't have Apprentice yet :(.

Don't mean to stereotype old people's abilities and a computer/internet, but YJ, seriously...Apprentice does NOT cost anything, nada, zippo!...And you don't need to sign up for anything..

And get AIM while you're at it...It is FREE...FREE...FREE...

I've always wondered...how can you be sure of finding the people you play with at a certain time?

I'm not sure I understand your question, Isty... are you talking about the original post with the playgroup or playing Apprentice in general?

...have AIM, and it works pretty well. I often play with Neo Keo, sometimes with Gerode, some with Multani, once with Duel, and twice with Darsh.

Istanbul (and anyone else who is AIMless), get AIM. It's not hard to download, it's easy to set up, and it's free. Once you get AIM, the playing will take care of itself. You'll most likely be on when other members are, and a game will practically take care of itself. :)

Speaking of Apprentice, I haven't played in almost 2 weeks...and I still wanna beat Gizmo's a** before leaving to college...

While it's free, it also puts a bunch of icons on your desktop and does some weird AOL hookups. I recommend pirchat or something else that's free and that's not as obtrusive.

eek!...So many options here...

Anyways, you can always delete the crap they put on your desktop...(if they even do that)...Just keep the orange little dude to click on...

it also puts itself in the Startup menu so it appears in the lower right part of the menu that shows which programs are running in the background and does at least one more thing. You can go and delete the stuff if you know what you're doing, but if you don't, it can be a pain. I guess you have to decide if it's worth the bother.
