I love using cheap commons for cool effects. Dealing out 9 points of damage using an Aquamoeba and Slagwurm armor is just plain cool :) Also using the tried and true combo of Wonder/Discard for cheese.

Let me know what you guys think. Nothing too deadly just fun.

ya kno i honestly dont know half of the cards in this deck but the theme is the coolest i have ever heard. im not sure if this is good a good idea or not but loxodon warhammer or sword of kaldra or bonesplitter. just so you could switcharoo and still have some toughness.

Wow, I was really expecting a deck that ran Transmutations...

This is just as cool, I suppose...

Homestar the creatures I've got other then wonder all inherently have the ability to temporarily exchange their power and toughness. They can do this at instant speed, so remembering how the stack works:

Swap Power and Toughness
Damage goes on the stack
Respond again be reversing power and toughness (back to starting power and toughness)

Here's what the creatures look like Homestar..

Phantasmal Fiend
Aquamoeba
My Quadropod
Vesuvan Doppelganger
Wonder

So when I equip the Slagwurm Armor on them, it's a simple activation away from them becoming BEASTS OF DESTRUCTION :D

I had initially planned on putting Transmutations in here but when 5ft Dawn released Myr Quadropod I decided against it. There'd be too much redundancy with the creature's inherent abilities and Transmutation.

The one problem I've noticed with this deck is it's too damn slow! Granted when I sneak a creature through yes..I hurt'm plenty good. It's just that usually that's around turn 5 or 6 and by then I've already taken a few lumps of my own......maybe some dark rituals instead of Annihilates....hmm..suggestions?

Normally I'd say something like "Yeah, Dark Ritual is the perfect solution for any problem."

Seriously, I'm not sure about how much it would be helpful in this deck. It's such great mana acceleration that it's viable and all, but not as crazy as it can be. I guess I'd try Dark Ritual in this deck, but it doesn't sound as promising as it usually does...

If you need mana acceleration, there's good 'ol Sol Ring, Fellwar Stone, some artifacts that lower the cc of the colored spells (some in the Mirrodin block and apparently the expensive blue one from Tempest block).

I'm thinking of running a variant of this......it sparked my interest.... using the Aquamoebas and Quadropods with some counter backup....I like the idea, but I don't have the Fiends and they cost a bit more to play. I would also like to use Swords of Fire and Ice instead of the Light and Shadow. I will probably sub Washout for Oblivion Stones. Some other changes will also be made.....

Phantasmal Fiends are easy as heck to get. They're commons from Alliance. But if you having trouble finding them PM me your address and I'll mail you 4. I've got buttload of them floating around.

Your definitely going to want to use some type of acceleration, as the deck is kinda slow...but it's a hell of a bruiser.

2 Empyrial Plate
2 Sword of Fire ad Ice
4 Washout
4 Boomerang

4 Accumulated Knowledge

Tabasco and whomever else is tinkering with this thing.

Don't know why it took so long for me to figure this out but Ensouled Scimitar is a beast in this deck! Try it out, I'm sure you'll come to agree.

Tireless tribe about face wannabe!!!...

jk...

though - white blue with the tribe might not be bad to look at...

and if you went red with fling - aquamoeba burns someone for 18, and you keep the armor!...
