Possible Invasion problem

1. In foil cards, the expansion symbol for common and uncommon cards is *identical*. Both look like common foils.

2. Collation. I opened two boxes, and got FIVE Raging Kavus. (Those are rares, by the way.) And three Obliterates.

I've purchased no Invasion, and I don't care, anyway.

I usually use covers, and when I don't, I've so many old cards in there that "involuntarily marked" cards are the norm, to the point that it's moot.

Istanbul, that's sooooo unfair! I got two sets of duplicate rares in one box, but all I got were 2 Binds (one a foil) and 2 of that LOUSY white giant...

At least you got Obliterates... Sure, it's not as good as some people think it is... but that's not the point.

I just got in my issue of Top Deck and there's no problem that I can see... each side looks the same.

I got my reply from Wizards, and they recognized that there was a problem with some packs of Invasion. I had asked them if it was possible to exchange my packs of marked cards for unmarked ones. They said that I couldn't switch them because, when combined with cards from other sets in a deck, they wouldn't be distinguishable. However, what happens if I play in an Invasion block tournament? What happens when they have an Invasion draft and the cards are marked?

I assume that this means that they've printed enough marked cards that it would cost them a lot of money to exchange them.

They had a collating problem with Legends and still ran an exchange program. And I'll take a wild guess but back then that was probably as big as a financial investment for WOTC as this is today. They ought to exchange them...
