I clicked on this thread and covered the screen until I scrolled down to the end so I wouldn't read anyone elses answer (so I can vote without influence).
I like the new site!
With that said, did I think we needed a new look? Not really. However, the friendly screen colors now makes it possible for me not to have to hide the screen all the time at work because it doesn't look menacing. Actually, it looks alot like msn web page, which is what shows up on my screen when I get on the internet at work.
