Don't whine about hating the current government, and then protest about how you won't change it.

It is a mistake, I think, says I
To discuss one's polotics with Thy
Self. 'Tis just the thing
To start a fight and poke
Out an eye.

That Being Said...

Social Conservatisim is wrong, wrong, wong.
Why?
Because telling someone else how they should be living, whether it be in issues of homosexuality, religion, ecology, et cetera...

is wrong.

Social Libralisim on the other, (LEFT) hand, is right, right, right...because it allows anyone to live thier life as they damn well please.

And that, my friends, is why I will never vote Republican. Piss on 'em.

I don't really follow any particular party (and I haven't exercised my right to vote ever since I was able).

...politics are completely pointless, in my opinion. If things are to happen, they happen beyond anyone's will -- nothing else matters. Not many truly care...and those who do care, they're better referred to as "sages” rather than politicians. Politicians are people -- normal humans – acting mostly on self-interests, greed, arrogance, and things that truly does not sustain nor assemble the human life in any way, shape, or form...

All those "parties" are...void.

Exactly Azereal is correct, if the current government is something you do not like then it is YOUR responsability to change that by voting and encouraging others to support you.
The Government today is actually very close to equality
(Exept that some pplz are treated BETTER then others...:( )

The reason i support Communism is that it has never trully been tried, It started alright in Russia under Lenin but after Stalin took over then it simply became a military state under his control, a tirany, a dictatorship, call it what you want but it's not Communism. In China Mao Messed things up similarly and in Cuba with Castro... In theory the system will work marvelously but it's the ppl that make any system work and power hungry leaders are always there to cause problems.

About the Random PM thing, yea i just get bored and see posts and send pplz PM's about them, i think that one was from the Clasic Questions forum under "Best Card" I didn't realize it was from that far back or i wouldn't have said anything about it kuz it was pretty old.:p

And that is why I don't support communism.

In theory, any political system works perfectly. In reality, there will be power hungry leaders that cause problems. Ideal communism is great indeed, but we don't live in an ideal world.

I don't know enough about politics yet (I just screwed over my argument :( ) to really decide what party or system I would support. I'm kind of interested in Libertarianism: it sounds like complete anarchy to me, but I agree with some of its principles and platforms.

Constitutional monarchy seems like the best system to me. That way, there's no roundabout beaurocratic nonsense and the monarch is prevented from going tyrannical. As long as the monarch's enforcers are loyal to the law instead of the king, you have as perfect a system of government as there can be.
Note that I do not say that it is perfect, just as perfect as can be. An anarchy where everyone is benevolent and respectful is ideal, but that is so ponderously impractical that it is not worth further discussion.

[begin random remembered fact]

Actually, "true" communism has worked a grand total of at least once in the past, though they didn't know it.

A group of sixty quakers lived in central tennissee(or Kentucky, somwhere around there) in colonial times, and practiced what could only been termed "true communism"

It went on for twenty years, If I remember my sixth grade history correctly.

[/end random remembered fact]

So when everyone believes in helping everybody, and agrees what should be done in a bi-weekly meeting, communism works.
otherwise, it doesn't. with several people, it doesnt.

i'm quite liberal...

i agree with the idea of communism, but i don't like how it ends up most of the time.

my idea of ideal society comes mostly from books, especially Mercedes Lackey's Valdemar series(plural).

hey sorry everybody about my friend who's been posting under my name. He doesn't know quite enough about communism but hey that's alright. This stuff is fun. And yeah ransac... you said urza's rage was the best card... i figured you might have second thoughts. Well life is good, communism lives on and I think mao did a good thing! China is STILL communist... unbelievable.

I consider Communism somewhat my cup of coffee.
Urza(Yes I Like Men): China is far from communism, be it the true definition, or what I dub, the "Reagan" definition.
Keep in mind that China is neither totalitarian, nor does it have a system in which money is no longer necessary.

Let's get some facts straight.
Under the true definition of communism, there has never been a communist state. It is unlikely that there ever will be a non-global communist state.
So, therefore, China is NOT communist.

Also, the only thing that Mao did that was actually good for China, was giving her the Bomb. Other than that, he was just another Stalin, and I know very few people who thought Stalin was good.

You're an idiot and you have absolutely no clue what you're talking about.

As for on-topic, I'm a as right-wing Republican as it gets, but I'm pretty sure everybody knows that :)

Well, he's right about communism being great in theory and its the people that screw it up and all, so I don't know what you're talking about, arhar. The only thing that he's wrong about in that statement is that under Lenin communism was good, cuz Lenin turned the idea of communism into totalitarianism.

The only thing wrong with communism is that it completely goes against the human urge to excel.
