Well, at least that's some good news.

In case you Atlanta-goers were wondering, an unfortunate timing issue cause me to miss my ride to the prerelease, and it was not my day to have the car, so I totally missed out.

My disappointment is beyond measure.

Okay, I'm over it.

For anyone who is entering the Dark Crusade deck contest, the prize will now be the first foil I open out of the box of Planeshift I will be buying on release day.
Of course, I'll make a formal announcement about this in my next article.

I went to the Planeshift PR, too. I saw TheOrgg celebrating in his Planeshift box, too! I did get 3'rd in my flight, but it was the flight with 25 people in it, so I got an amazing 9 boosters. Was anyone else in the Yellow Flight?
I was the smaller asian kid, not the one hopped up on some sort of illegal substance... I was with about 4 other friends, most of them placing miserably.

The last time I saw Orgg win a box of cards, the room literally trembled when he did a celebratory leap from the dais!

I was in the Yellow Flight. I was the tall, long-haired, skinny, bearded guy in the shirt with the flaming Satan skull. I fared pretty dismally. I stuck around for the fifth round even at 1-2-1 just so I could play, and my opponent didn't even show. Argh. I would have liked to feel like I at least earned a .500 record...

I think I played one or two of your friends...Dustin, maybe? Also, the guy playing all the anti-black and -red stuff. That dang little 1/1 white Scout beat me in game 2 just from the life-gaining. Argh again.

Congrats to all the CPAers who finished in the money (er...cards...): theorgg, Sole Specter, and RabidKimba that I know of.

It was much fun to meet and play you good people. I even got an Orgg signed by theorgg himself.

Oh yeah, and if any of you have a Goblin Game to trade, let me know. I'm very intrigued by this card (I got the little flyer they had posted at the entrance saying, "If Goblin Game resolves, immediately raise your hand and call a judge."). I managed to get ahold of one yesterday, but I'm anxious to trade for some more...

Hey, RabidKimba...

By any chance, back at the Masques pre-release, did you get paired wrong in one of the rounds because your previous match was entered into the computer incorrectly? But the judge said go ahead and play whoever you were (wrongly) paired against anyway?

If so, I was the guy who played you the round before. The one that got entered wrong (I got paired up too high).

If not, ignore me. I'm crazy anyhow.

Chaos - I wasn't playing at the time of the masques PR... I quit around Urzas block and picked it up again at Prophecy.
Looking at my winnings, I found quite the interesting combo, too.... Shifting Sky (naming Black,) Evil life-gaining scout, and Escape Routes! For 4 mana, you gain 2 life X their number of non-land permenants! :-D
