{LOTS of dirty words.... -Spidey}

[Enormous quanities, in fact. And yet, somehow still amusing. Out of curiousity, when did it become SOP for Mods to respond via edits? :) --Zadok001]

Argh, I have to post a reply like a schmuck :p . Nevertheless, if you're of sufficient age to not mind cursing, that's one of the funniest things you'll read in a long time.

One of my friends actually said a remarkably similar thing at the latest Maryland PTQ after losing to an Overrun. As such, Overrun looks to be highly hazardous to your health indeed.

Hey, I just wanted to make sure the warning was noticed before some hapless soul lost his or her sanity from inadvertantly viewing "grownup words." :p

I think I just set the record for most mods (THREE!!!) to edit ONE post :D I kick oink! Now could all the other mods add their contributions to that post as well, so no one could even approach this record? Thanks! :D

No, there was one post of Doe's that had I think six mods edit it at one point or another...

[*theorgg throws up at the memory[/me]

I've actually seen this happen before, too... :D

I didn't think Chaos Turtle's warning was sufficient :D

All the other mods just jumped on the bandwagon :)

Yet another example of why you don't want to incur the wrath of the mods! (more :D )

Indeed I am. I simply tend not to use my powers except when I think they're really needed. I think of myself as a Mod Jr....technically, I'm a mod, but my powers are to be used only when none of the Real mods are available and a solution is needed promptly.

He's like the one man member of that "sidekick" league of what is to the Justice League of America (you know, the one that Robin, Superboy, Wonder Girl, etc belonged to) :D

I can't be the Wonder Twins, I'm only one guy.
If you're comparing me to Super Marvin, I will be forced to destroy you without possibility of regeneration.

Let's just hope that the DCI doesn't get ahold of this. They don't need to have ANY reason to ban Overrun.....

Speaking of this whole issue, does anyone else agree with me when I say that Overrun is just stupid? :) I mean, you draft it, you kill people. Crunch. Period. Not "I'll do some damage." Just. Dead. Ditto for Shower of Coals. Too powerful, too common? Cards like that would be HORRIFYING to see as rares, but as uncommons, they're just too strong in draft!

My proposed solution? There is no "official" draft format for base sets. Let cards like Overrun live in base sets, where they don't screw with sealed and draft. We can still get them relatively easily, but they don't make us experience the rather extreme cast of Tourretes we see so well examplified in that short article. :)

I'm not talking about the TV show, where the Wonder Twins were actually part of the Justice League.

I'm talking about the comic world, you know, the "sidekick league", the "Justice League Jr.". Ya know? ;)

Oh, never mind. :D
