Well, now it is with Sealed/Draft, but WOTC didn't have that back in 4th and Revised.

Can't players bring their own land and give it to the store? :)

That's why I believe in buying boxes of tourney packs, and not boosters so much... to get the land...

Most people just buy boosters... so not many other players have their own lands to give the store... My 2500-box of land will be donated shortly... I have to get the lands out of it needed for the sets I'm making...

Lands are part of the set...

Lands are part of the set...
At least 15 cars of it. I kind of liked getting land in my boosters. You buy enough cards and you end up w/ 8+ of some commons that do nothing more than take up space in your binders. Land never takes up space and if you get too many, they make great proxy cards.

they make great proxy cards. - Ferret: on lands
They make great everythings...

dividers, proxies, ante cards(if playing for ante - they were a great thing to flip over...), tokens(proxy tokens of course...), life counters(the turn sideways and straight counting method), and most of all...

frisbees!!!... :D ;)

Always thought that lands were just in a seperate class of their own. But of course we can see how land can be very hard to get, take our friend here for example he has only two (weak) red decks and cannot build anything else because he has neither the cards nor the lands to build them. (cannot build up five lands in a game for goodness sake!) needless to say he "found" some money and bought all of the pre-con decks from onslaught.

Now he has lands and crappy decks. Still don't know why he is a Nightstalker?
