Old sKool combos

Reading another thread, I realized there are more old school players here than t2. I want all the old skool playas to show of thier skills here. We will start off with a boring combo. Say, Channel-fireball. The object of this thread is to one up it and then some one else can one up that. Go for complextiy, creativeness, and uniqueness. Do not post channel-disentagrate...

15 Black Lotus
15 Timetwister
10 Lightning Bolt

I used to have a mean Pros(perity)-(Cadaverous) Bloom deck ages ago.

I still like Kismet-Stasis.

Intruder Alarm - Tim - Shrieking Drake...

I'll let spidey do the manabarbs combo... :D

Donate I love the card....It tastes good with..........

Illusions of Granduer + Donate

Forbidden Crypt + Donate

Get them in a lockdown and then Donate Thoughtlash....LOL

Old skool combos like, say, preerrata time vault?

Nevermind.

Try this:

Verdant Succession
Nantuko Tracer
Phyrexian Altar, (Or Ashnod's)
Plus some X-cost kill condition, probably Stroke.

How's that for creative?

Or good ol' High Tide + Palinchron. With a compulsion in play, you not only have acsess to infinite mana, but also to your desired kill condition as well as all the counterspells you might need to protect it.

It's also fun to combo Beast Attack with your opponent's end-of-turn step.

I don't really have a Manabarbs combo; I was trying to build a deck that didn't die if the "combo" was disrupted. :) I mean, Winter Orb/Manabarbs helped, but I don't think that was a "killer" combo :)

Never played it, but there was the Ornithopter-Enduring Renewal-Goblin Bombardment for infinite damage...

all these are pretty good. But as far as creative and original they are medium at best. I really liked the Egg/tendrils combo on a another thread. That was creative

Crash of Rhinos + Stormseeker???

True story--one time a guy in my city flashed these two cards, fully aware of which two cards he was flashing, and with all seriousness said they were a "Good card combo"

Yeah, he was a newbie. But you can't get more creative than that!

You probably didn't start off the thread right by posting the Channel-Fireball if that's what you wanted. Once you did that, people probably just thought "old school known combos" and went with that, not creative not-widely-known old school combos :)

Hey man, look, I know my Chromium's Revenge deck is a bit dated.

But, when I work out a way to get that Rhinos/Stormseeker combo working in it, it'll be the hippest new thang this side of the Moon!!!

I used it once. Balance works with so much, but it's funniest with the Spite...
