Run Priest of Titania instead of Birds of Paradise, that should give you lots of mana.

Run 3x Smokestack instead of 2 Phyrexian Altar and 1 Ashnod's Altar. Now you've got very dangerous permanent removal.

Try and run Natural Orders, if you do replace 1 Nemata with 1 Verdant Force.

Hope that helps!

To continue with what Mikey was saying, I'd drop the Bursts in favor of the Natural Orders, simply because the Verdant Force and your other saproling generators are more permanent. I'd also drop 1 of the Collective Unconscious and 1 Saproling Symbiosis, because they aren't really that good until late in the game, once you already have a nice-sized Saproling army. In those slots, I'd put 2 Overrun, just for kicks.

With Mikey's and my changes, the deck looks something like this:

2 Verdeloth the Ancient
1 Nemata, Grove Guardian
1 Verdant Force
2 Priest of Titania
4 Llanowar Elves
4 Fyndhorn Elves
2 Overrun
3 Collective Unconscious
3 Saproling Symbiosis
4 Creeping Mold
4 Spontaneous Generation
4 Natural Order
3 Smokestack
3 Phyrexian Altar
3 Gaea's Cradle
17 Forest

Almost forgot, if you do decide to run Deranged Hermit, he is also an elf - making your Priests bigger.

EDIT - Its now 1000, didn't want to add another post.

I'd like to put a few Deranged Hermits in here but I honestly don't know what to take out. Maybe drop a Mold and a Spontaneous Generation?

EDIT: Mikey, you have exactly 999 more posts than me. Interesting, no?

I had the same issue, off of your version I'd remove the Saproling Symbiosis. The difference between the two is that the Hermit allows you to recover better from mass removal COUGH pernicious deed COUGH, while the Symbiosis is kind of a 'win more' type of card. Don't get me wrong, its solid - but the majority of the time the Hermit would probably be stronger. Oh yeah, its also a good target for Smokestack kill if you don't feel like paying the echo.

If you want to go teched out, run Blue for Tradewind Rider, Opposition, and/or Keep Watch (ten ways broken with tokens).

BUMP

[Please don't do this anymore. If people want to read old threads, they will set their preferences to be able to see old threads. Thanks. --CT]

Dude, there is no reason to bump up your posts here. If you are going to post - make it worth worthwhile.

Well, seeing as how he is the most consistently ignored member of the CPA, I don't blame him.

It's not that. Reviving your thread to the top of the list is fine. Just write something more substantial than "BUMP." How about playtesting details of the deck's current configuration. That will help guide further constructive criticism.

Also, if you decide on using 4 Natural Orders, you might as well find room for a second Verdant Force. :)

Any thoughts on using Coat of Arms?

Also, if you want mana and your Saprolings aren't going to be attacking this turn, you could try Citanul Hierophants (it lets all your creatures tap for G. A second Gaea's Cradle never hurts).
