I don't think Gizmo was only talking about this post, and your comments to Hetemti. I gather from this quote,

that he's saying it's more than just this thread here.

We've talked about this before, how for some reason (it could be the language thing) you seem to bring out the worst in people. You say things that can be taken 2 ways, then you either get all defensive when someone comes back at you (bad interpretation) or you take umbrage when someone doesn't, like they're ignoring you or something.

Lighten up man. It's not that serious, and you don't have to give an opinion about freakin' EVERYTHING (and everyone) you read here, for crying out loud!

The best way for you to go, I think, is to perhaps try and keep your comments from being so personal all the time, since that seems to be the way you get yourself into trouble.

Of course, that's just my opinion...

IMHO, I think Gizmo was taking his overall impression of DUke and applying to that one post and thus reading it a bit differently than what DUke meant (Spidey, stop stating the obvious).

I know what you guys mean about DUke's posting tone and lord knows we've had a few "discussions", but I really think for this one instance (at least), it was harmless. Just like that Redskins dude who was suspended for a game for helment hitting early in the season pretty much because he has a past history of doing so, even though in this certain instance it seems it wasn't intentional, I think the same applies here: treat each thread separately until the tone REALLY develops.

I mean, Darsh at least also didn't think it was offensive, so that makes two people.

Hmm... what does Hetemti think? Did HE take offense at it?

Well, I haven't been keeping track of this thread, but I'm glad I took the time out to read it...And I think TomB said many things that were true...The above quote mainly says it all from my opinion...

Every thread, is plagued by posts from the person we're talking about...And I say plagued because his posts are, in a general sense, stupid...Does anyone else here hate when someone writes a thread about something funny or ridiculous, and Tweedledum here takes it the wrong way and puts something that tries to be "philosophical"?...I'm sure you know what I mean...And if you don't, later I can find some instances for you...

And the smiley thing is just way overblown...I think people are becoming numb to his little smiley face...If you're going to see 3 of those in every post of his, you'll probably disregard it after awhile...

I say, 'Tweedledum', lay off for awhile...I think people are mainly getting sick of your antics...
