this is somewhat casual, but i may enter a tournament with it...
i don't know yet, i need some input on how to make this flow.

1 Wheel of Fortune -- ith this deck i can drop my whole hand, have mana left over, cast the wheel, and drop another whole new hand.... it's great

1 Memory jar -- same as above

4 thoughtcast -- draw 2 for U. i like it, it goes good.

1 stifle -- when you draw the whole deck, the one stifle is just good enough to stop any issues that might arise. 3 more will probly go sideboard.

1 regrowth -- it's just that damn good

1 fastbond -- i get fastbond, i roll... easy enough

1 Mind over Matter -- im actually contemplating the usefulness of this. it is nice to be able to untap the tolarian for an alternate stroke kill, but idk yet....

1 Stroke of Genius -- i like drawing cards

1 lightning greaves -- 1 is great, i might up this to 2 just becasue it's so great. the haste isn't even the cool thing, its the "you can't kill my critters unless you whipe out everything" that i like.

3 skulloinker (skullclamp) -- I equip my ornithopter, sack it to the rapist, draw 2 cards, rinse, repeate

1 crop rotation -- gets my tolarian

2 Second Sunrise -- i sacrafice everything to the oinkist, bring em back

1 lotus petal -- mana

1 mox diamond -- its a mox

1 sol ring -- mana

1 mana crypt -- it's cool.

2 leonin Shikiri -- instant skulloink and lightning greaves!

3 Auriok steelshaper-skulloink for free!

4 ornithopter-- +1+1 to the oinkist and draw 2 cards using skullclamp. it's fodder

4 phyrexian walker -- +1+1 to the oinkist and draw 2 cards using skullclamp. it's fodder

4 arcbound slith -- it gives the oinkist +2+2! and draw 2 cards using skullclamp. it's fodder but more useful foder

4 Arcbound ravager (The oinkist) -- using skullclamp, this card reads (1: Sacrafice an artifact creature. the oinkist gets +1+1 and you draw 2 cards).

artifact mana because ican use them to the oinkist

It seems like you had one idea, and then another, and then threw Skullclamp in there along with the steelshaper and made a deck that does not appear to do much of anything when faced against burn, artifact/land/creature removal or any kind of counter.

burn isn't really a problem around here, there's only one person here who knows how to make a good sligh/burn deck, and that's me lol...


im hoping to ourrun counterspells, besides, Again, there are only two people who own force of will's around here, me, and the store owner lol....

Well it has potential. I would say put more mana producing artifacts in it, like thran Dynamo, or more sol rings, or mana vault, or grim monolith, or metal worker--How many of those do you have Oversoul? None? aww that is too bad I have four-- . I like the addition of Fastbond because it is such a good card, but I am not too sure about green in your deck. Maybe if you added something a little more intimidating and green, like I don't know some super powerful new green creature that allows you to play all your artifacts for free, and you can't lose the game when he is in your deck at all or something I don't know any new cards. But I say the largest improvement could be made as far as mana producing artifacts go. Hey why not throw tinker in there while you are at it, and Junk diver.

so yeah discard, sligh, white, blue, and green-blue are the top decks...


and the is used mostely for sideboard. i may play 4 explorations for more speed... maybe a turbo aspect, i don't know yet.

Ok, I do not play with new cards, but I want to help if I can. I looked up some of the cards, to see how it all works out. I am not too sure about the Auriok and the Leonin. Something I see that I believe would give you a large advantage would be Lifeline. If you had them out and with life line you could draw two cards and grows the ravager by one for every creature you sac on each turn, not just your own, for free. I'm still not sure about the green. I do not see it being all that necessary except maybe the rotation to get out the academy, and the fastbond to get out some lands you had from drawing. But these are both used for mana. I seriously suggest more Sol rings, mana vaults, mana crypts, Grim Monoliths, and thran dynamos. That will provide you with more artifacts earlier and a whole bunch of mana. The underlying academy combo in it is nice but you would need another Stroke to actually get it off effecitently (Since you stroke to get all of your library into your hand, then use that to stroke them for the kill), but with that potential lifeline combo could help you make up for it majorly, and I would keep in Mind over matter if you do put in the lifeline for the reason that you could chuck some stuff just to tap them out during their upkeep. I suggest Tinker. It will help get out anything you need for the combo, including the artifact lands, besides the white creatures or whatever. Second Sunrise is cool but I would favour Lifeline over it. Maybe keep it in just in case. I like the idea of the Orinthopter and the Phyrexian Walker, but don't forget about Shield sphere. A zero casting cost 0/6 wall is great even if it get weaker each time it blocks. I like Wheel of fortune as much as the next guy, but I am worried about not having the right mana at the right time. Memory Jar is great especially with tinker. I am glad you are using mox diamond over that new crap. Lotus Petal is a personal favorite of mine --just ask oversoul--. Maybe add more of those. You seem to have a lack of blue cards, and considering the synnergy between blue and artifacts, there should be a lot more. I suggest maybe more Mind over matters. They would help you untap those mana producing artifacts and lands, and while you are at it, why not more strokes. Considering the fact that you can produce a lot of colourless mana and use one blue to draw a lot of cards at the end of their turn so you don't have to discard it away. lol and why not more academies while you are at it, I know we are all on a budget, but I seriously think the Mind of matter and Strokes would be great in the deck. So in summary, more mana producing artifacts, less red and green, TINKER, lifeline, and maybe more of the academy combo.

Oh and one more thing. Your deck severly lacks disruption. I have an old all artifact deck that produces so much mana which I use to get out colossi, but what makes the deck so formitable is Mishra's Helix and Null Brooch just disrupt everything. When I say add more blue, I also mean counters. At the very least 4 stifles. I personally like Misdirection just because it is so much fun to make them do things to themselves.

The Sol Rings, Mana Vaults, and Mana Crypts are restricted in Type 1 (which is usually 13NoVa's format).

Well I am suggesting this for casual play. And as far as suggesting so many cards, he asked for help and I gave it to him. I suggest cards that I think would work well, which is more than you did. :p

What are you talking about? I just said that was a lot of cards. I mean, to try to use them all in a deck? I was only talking about the need for narrowing it down, not refraining from making suggestions...

Al0ysius: I know you were suggesting good cards - I was merely pointing out that there could be some restrictions, especially since he says he may enter this in a tournament. I don't see what's wrong with that - is suggesting useless cards better than making no suggestions? :)

No I wasn't refering to your post actually, I was refering to Oversoul. Yes I did happen to over look that aspect when he posted the deck and I made my comment. But I stand firm with my suggestions just in case he ever wanted to play in the types I was thinking of it working in, which is type fun or whatever they call it. I think the term no holds barred would be more appropriate or something, since no bars would be held or something to that effect.

Oh and Twiggy, or Oversoul as he is also known as, I actually coached a friend into making a variant of this with the cards I suggested. So I did try, and succedded so :p.

And the reason I am still using that face instead of those smilies or something, is because there is no tongue OH THERE IT IS IT MOVES, AWESOME!:p

Okay, just so everyone knows, I'd like to think I wouldn't go so far as to say this if I did not know Al0ysius personally and know that he's usually more eloquent or intelligible to say the least...

You're not very coherent there, man. Get more sleep or something...
