Anyone know the next two Odyssey small expansion names and their pre Release dates?
Usually end of January and end of May.

The 2 Odyssey expansions are Torment (or Chainer's Torment), and Judgment.

The standalone after Odyssey is named Onslaught.

As for the prerelease dates, I don't know, but I'm pretty sure they're end of January and May.

Rumor is that Torment is called the "black" expansion, it has possibly even more black cards than the other colors respectively.

Torment also includes madness and nightmare mechanics, which also sound rather black.

Great. More mechanics introduced mid-block.
Happened in Masques block, and we all know how BALANCED they turned out (Blastoderm, Parallax Wave, Saproling Burst).

Has there ever been a case of one color dominating over the others in terms of card quantity in other sets? I thought they were all pretty much equal in distribution.

I can't believe they would emphasize one color. one of the strengths is that the colors are supposed to balance(in theory if not in practice)

Hah... Maybe they'll just annoy us and stick dark ritual back in.

No, I think we can stick a Fork in Dark Ritual, it's done.

I know Antiquities had more artifacts than anything else, but...dominance of one color? It's always been equal, AFAIK...maybe *slightly* slanted in A/B/U, but after that...

They won't run it towards Black. People have been commenting about how bad Black is - As a result, people started chatting about ways to fix it. This led in turn to people saying "More black cards!" Someone misinterpretted that as a statement of fact, and *bing!* That's where we stand now. :)

Sayth WotC:

The colors shalt remain always equal.

You can find a scan of it on this site

It's a creature which removes another creature from the game when it comes into play, when it leaves play that creature comes back.

Here's the full card text, keep in mind it's a translation from Japanese to English, so the name could be slightly different.

Faceless Butcher 2BB
Creature - Nightmare Horror
When F.B. comes into play, remove target creature other than F.B. from the game
When F.B. leaves play, return the removed card to play under its owner's control.
2/3

could get pretty annyoing vs. tokens and with your own CIP creatures.

Since the creature's type is "nightmare horror," and one of the new "mechanics" is supposed to be called nightmare, perhaps that's going to be something like the Spellshaper or Flagbearer creature type.

That is, I think maybe all creatures of type "nightmare" will have the ability to remove something from the game and bring it back when it leaves play.

That faceless butcher could be pretty good for removing opponents' creatures with a CIP drawback as well, such as Minotaur Explorer and the like.
