This is a thread for all nightstalkers with decks that don't seem to be good or finished... everyone that is a CPA member can help them, but we do have a lot of us that are going to post a deck.

First:

R/G Nightmare...

10x Forest
10x Mountain
2x Shivan Oasis

So far I have found that I could throw in a lot of Elves and R/G creatures. While I can use the elves as blockers and the gold guys for cover as well, I would eventually build up a mana base and use it for a big fireball or something. The only trouble is that I cannot find a way to boost the mana pool up enough to allow a good shot. What can I do?

Well, most of my cards are old school, but I'll throw a few of my favourites at you:

Quirion and Skyshroud Elves. Both can help boost your mana base for both colours.

For offense, try a Viashivan Dragon from Visions. it works w/ both coloured mana! Also, if you like the direct damage, try Earthquakes and Hurricanes. They work great in mulitiplayer.

Want to build up a bigger mana base? Try Mana Flare. Also, if you have a good mana sink throw in Power Surge to hurt your oponent. It's an old combo, but it works.

What about a good stomping/blocking creature? I have found that most are good but the best are just too easy to be picked off or prevented from blocking for me.

we've found that card a good one, but if you kill it and I regenerate, I'll get back a tapped creature and a good buttwhooping.

I have been looking through my X damage cards and found that I have a choice of disintegrate, blaze, and Kaervek's torch. Right now I have a huge sideboard to clean out and i'll throw in about six and the rest will be kept in sideboard for if I need them.

Well.... Kraklin is an X/X creature.... perhaps you'd also like the old Hydra.... lot's of mana means big creatures...

Kraklin also regenerates.... and better to regen and keep the creature than have it just die. You might also look at pumpable creatures... and Anger in the GY to give fatties haste...

Sneaky Combo...

Have the Elf untap land (can't remember the name) + any land with Wild Growth or Overgrowth (GG instead of G extra) on it. Have the elf which untaps 2 lands for T in play.... tap the OG land for 3, use one G and the untap land to untap the elf.... wash rinse repeat.... infinite mana = Big X...

I'll try to dig up the names of the cards here...

Wirewood Lodge is the land.... Unc from Onslaught.

Argothian Elder is the untap elf ... Unc from Urza's Saga.

Krosan Restorer is another untap elf which does three lands if you have threshhold, but only one otherwise... It is a Torment Common.

Once the combo is in play, it is unstoppable, since you can react to any removal by getting more mana... This combo is all green, so you can use it with Red for FB, etc... using the elven translator (Skyshroud Elf)... or with the Initiates of the Ebon Hand to make (B) mana for big drains...

You could also use Mirari's Wake to give you the extra mana instead of the local ench (with white again usable with the green translator).... or Mana Flare .... you get the picture.

Sorry...am I terribly terribly dim or is/are Nightstalkers more than one person using the same login? Never really thought that 'til now...

Just have to find somebody with the torment cards then, eh? This kinda sux if you are living in a culturally dense area. Ah crap, I'll just have another nightstalker send me the cards:

4x Wirewood Lodge
4x Argovian Elder
4x Krosan Restorer

that should do.
