Well, this is good news! I love Slivers. They make five-coloured decks fun, but not necessary. I've always thought of them as the Votron Force of M:TG...

This was the first place to have this scheme.

Ed Sullivan was the developer for Vbulliton, and this place was a guinny pig for his testing.

This is so pleasing that it was adopted as the standard.

I think MTGnews should change back to their old style... unless they always had it on default... :?:

Can't say much more than theorgg. About all I can repeat is that VBulletin isn't proprietory to just the CPA and hey, if it seems like others are using it, it must be better than other forum software :) I'm on several others and none are as this clean (and one is absolutely horrible).

I wasn't here during the Orange and Black days - but it seems like those colors would be pretty strong against the eyes... Were they soft tones or hard tones or what??

Also - for those of you who miss them - why not suggest that a week of memorial be held for the old colors and have them back for a week or so...:cool: ;)

Also - slivers rule!, maybe the queen will be back!

Maybe they'll bring back a different kind of Sliver Legend that will be just as cool...although, a 7/7 w/ an ability to produce offspring for just five mana is pretty cool on her own...


...as for the old Holloween Colours they weren't too hard on my eyes, but I'm not sure if everyone has my sense of colour...

I think one of the main reasons Ed switched the colors was that no one really does a black background anymore (or at the time), at least not for a forum type setting. It made some smilies and others colors hard to see.

The first time I came to the CPA, I left specifically because of the colors.

1/1 Sliver that gives you a 3/3 or something if you tap so many slivers is the most likely thing.

I stuck around just 'cos the colors caught my attention. :p I love 'em.

Actually, when we switched to these colours, my eyes had a hard time adjusting...Everything was so bright and.....cheery....


Who couldn't love the dark and dreary black and orange?...

I thought they were great. The colours made life fun - it reminded me of the days before The Dojo had sold out to The Man. I usually change colours in all of my apps to have a black background...
