New mechanic in Scourge

I'm going to post it on the front page, but I saw this when I was checking the Orb of Insight:

New Scourge Mechanic

Seems.... interesting

I expect some storm card like "Draw a Card". I can only assume that they would have enough common sence to make such a thing a sorcery.

I saw a guy w/ a card in his Elf deck from Onslought last night that caused you to discard his hand to draw a card for every creature in play...toward the end I was hoping he'd use it...

Slate of Ancestry, nice card in an elf deck or any tribal deck for that matter =)

Slate of Ancestry is nice for the bigger tribal creature types - dragons, beasts, that kind of stuff... For the smaller ones - unless you have some mana heavy spells, you should be able to hard-cast everything...
