New mechanic; Conversion

I saw this sucker on mtgnews and I wanted so see your guys opinion. (It seems very intersting, I wouldnt mind including it in my sliver set)

Conversion
(When a creature with conversion becomes blocked [Or blocked, if we want to], it´s power and toughness becomes */*, where * is equal to it´s converted mana cost.)

It can be either a ability or a drawback.

For example;

Putty Solider BB
Creature- Abomination
Conversion
3/3


Or

TrailBlazer 2RR
Creature- Orc
Haste.

This seems very intersting and would take *alot* of thought to make good, playable, balanced cards. What do you think?

That's a very interesting card imagine it with veteran brawlers, some people would be very mad, very good card For!

 

[Spiderman]

is that it's interesting and WOULD take some work to get some balanced cards.
