New Jersey/Tri-State Area CPAers?

I'm really curious to see if anyone around here is from the area mentioned above (such as myself) There are always things going on in this area, and I now have the time to go to major events (pre-releases, etc.) As such, I was wondering: is anyone is around here that I can look forward to meeting eventually? Team Loser is sweeping down in Georgia, I think it's time we started something up here too

Well, I'm from NY, and at the last prerelease at Neutral Ground I've met CPAers MikeyMike and Mr Usa... They were pretty cool to meet, and we had a good time.

I live in upstate NY, and I haven't played in NJ, bu my bf played in Edison once...And theres a very good possibility we'll go there in the future...

Whatever happened to him here? I know he popped up for the USA arguments but it would have been nice to keep him for Magic stuff...

Yup, I'm from CT and I try to get down to Neutral Ground to every pre-release. Arhar is the man b/c he traded me a Rukh Egg at the Apoc PR. I'm sure I'll be there for Odyssey, we should all flip some cards.

Hope you don't mind me going off topic CE, but I can answer Spidey's question :
Mr. USA now resides on the MTGNews boards, he figured (realized) he wore out his welcome here, kind of like a self-exile. He got involved with the CPA on the wrong topic, one that he was just a little too passionate about. ('And the Understatement of the Year award goes to Mikeymike!')

He's a good friend of mine and a damn good magic player. I wish he did visit the boards, as he is a good guy when he's not fueled in a historical/political debate. Oh well, he was checking out all of my decklists anyway .

After that thread, I'm sure you can understand why I've kept quiet about this up until now. And no, he is not my alias.

Well, you can tell him that despite our butting heads on the USA stuff, if he ever wants to come back and join in whatever Magic stuff that's going on here, it's all good. The past is "water under the bridge" as far as I'm concerned (for me, at least).
