Necra anyone?

Ok-This is my stab at a Black-Green-White control deck in Type II-Post AP. Now, this deck splashes white for disenchants and Vindicates, green the new disk and SpiritMonger, and black for the kill; Necra Sanctuary. The goal is to hold them off long enough with Spectral Lynx/Vine trellis and Disk/Vindicate untill Necra brings them down real low. Then a simple SpiritMonger can finish the job, or just let the Necra do it. The point of the Dega sancts are for the 2 life gain per turn. There are 8 painlands in here, and hopefully that will make it up. A possible replacment for the Dega would be Heroes Renuion and/or Gerrards Wisdom. What do you guys think?

I know, it uses a_lot_of bad cards and its an auto loss to
some decks but it looked amusing.

The Dega Sanctuary is only going to gain you 1 life per upkeep (1 life for black or red creature), not enough to warrant putting it in your deck. Caveman's suggestion for using Death Grasp (? XWB Drain Life) is a good one, that card is seriously solid. Or you can use that new Overgrown Estates (3 life Zuran Orb). Or if you don't like those options for life a double-kicked Necravolver has spirit link and trample.

I would really recommend Charging Troll to back up your Necra Sactuary: not only is it GW but it has very cheap regen, so his chances of survival are good.

And actually, the Dega Sanctuary gives you TWO life per turn, so I think its worth looking into in terms of covering the painland dmg.

Wow, I didn't realize the sanctuaries run off of permanents!, I thought they work off of creatures only. How are these things not rare? Some of them I can understand, but the Necra Sanctuary is unbelievable, and only 2B.

You could run Rituals in here for:
Turn one: Lanowar Waste, Ritual, Sanctuary
Turn two: White producing land, Sterling Grove
Turn three: Whatever you want, start Vindicating lands or something.

That is a dangerous and very possible soft-lock.
