Well tonight I got thrashed in type 2 because I didnt get to build the deck I wanted b/c of time, so I got stuck playing a goblin deck which did eh terrible excecpt my first game. I had to remove the core of that deck hint hint 4 goblin grenades and a fork :) I noticed everyone tonight was playing beat you down with big wurm decks and mongrol's and other flashback stuff. Verry cheap win's. they called those decks Frogs in a blender. getting a 6/6 wurm out and flahsing more and more gets verry pissy esp since the kid played a card that allowed him to pick 3 cards out of the library and pitch to the grave yard only to flash it back. What are some ways around this, these decks are verrry common around that shop, speeking of that I played 4 people with the similar decks so I know there has to be a way around it. Someone want to give me deck Ideas, had a thought of meekstones and some serra angles as side boards for a white/blue deck, so give me ideas please:)

Well, it may be helpful to tell us what format your playing...
If it's just casual type 1 and the like here's a simple card you may like:

Tormod's Crypt
CC= 0
Artifact
T: Remover target player's graveyard from the game

That could put a bee in their bonnet. Here's the Goblin deck I would play based on your vague description of what you wanted:

4 Goblin Lackey
4 Goblin Piledriver
2 Goblin Cadets
2 Raging Goblin
4 Jackal Pup
4 Mogg Fanatic
4 Mogg Flunkies

4 Reckless Charge
4 Chain Lightning
4 Lightning Bolt
4 Goblin Grenade

4 Barbarian Ring
16 Mountain

Don't worry about them getting out 6/6 and other such things on turn 4-5, you should be winning around then, if your smart with where you shoot your burn.

have fun

Joe - What he was playing was in the title...

Vise - That's why I mentioned in the other thread to make sure you were able to deal with graveyards... Black, White, and Green do this well...

I need to know what colors you'll want to run so I can help you here... I personally run a W/G so let me know what you'd like to do... ;)

It's too bad Planar Void isn't Type II (right?), that would help a lot...

see if you can play with counters that remove from game or counters flashback...

Planar void would be too powerful in this block(Odyssey-Judgement)... half the concept of the set would be removed from the game... and wishes aren't enough to get them all back...

Threshold Flashback and Incarnations would all be gone...

Isn't that Odyssey through Onslaught?

And there's always disenchant or counters, to say the least.

I didn't include Onslaught because it doesn't key so much on the graveyard...

As would half the set itself.
