Here's the deck I've been using recently that's been doing real well for me. I know it needs a LOT of work, but it's not terrible, just a bit rough:

I'd drop some of the one of's like berserk... and run duplicates of something else... this way you have a better chance of drawing the card...

Take out the Beserk & the Mind Twist & put in more duplicates of Utiliuty creatures? Sounds good. Well, I'm low on disruption, so maybe I could use either Chains of Acid or Creeping Molds.

WHUH!!! 150 a piece for the moxies?? 450... 275 for the darned lotus... 725???

and all of the rest... yep thats around 800 to 900 dollars.

and what is a card worth? the 150 in a "priceguide" or 50 in your heart???

All of my duels, decks, and ideas come from Apprentice. That's what I get for not being around to buy cards for three years, nor the money to go back and catch-up.

Well, playing this deck last night & annihilating, I decided to re-post a new version of my Nightmare Survival.

It could do well in 1.5, possibly Extended (though if Living Death is out of the 1.X loop, this deck is kind of worthless). I'm thinking of making a T2 Recursion, I'd have to look at current black cards.

Survival of the Fittest is banned in Extended.

You need 4 Survival of the Fittest, it is uber-broken. Your Walls of Souls need to be Walls of Roots, and you need to dump all but about 3 of your fatties. Diabolic Tutor is not good enough, but Vampiric Tutor is.

I was thinking of taking out some of the fatties & adding more utility, but it came to me as I was playing: Nightmare/Survival wasn't working for me. I rather like Buried Alive/Living Death, and am currently tooling with the idea of making it pure-black.
