And none of them really in "my colors"...

I'll take River Boa as a defensive pick. If I do go blue, can't have an island walker... Longbow Archer is mucho good too though... :( and Dark Banishing I could splash, but like train earlier, I figure keeping a good creature out of his clutches is better.

The following is my letter to BigBlue on my picks and what I thought of this scenario, from yesterday afternoon!:

I wouldn't be surprised if he took the boa in a defensive draft... but if he doesn't take the archer I can block his flyers...

so he may take the banishing... to get rid of either...

Ohhh... spidey, the future in Baltimore looks more and more intriguing all the time!... We may be too good a match of wits in Magic... if I do say so myself...;) :cool:

Well, if black was more a primary color, I probably would have taken it... Longbow Archers wasn't in them either, but it was either a regenerating island-walker or a first-striker against flyers. I can at least block the Archers, so I went with the unblockable. Still a hard choice though.

It owuld be a lot better then...

but it can still pick off weenies, or provide that extra damage to the opponent...

so if i don't play red - it's better I keep it away from you...;) :D :cool:
