MTGO-White Weenie

Okay I bought the Inudation deck from judgement with my credit.
I have played 10 games with it in the casual play room. it is 7-3 so far and I was in most games except for one against a ld deck. was surprised because It usually doesn't need much land but this guy had gone through 4 stone rains and 2 earthrifts before I conceded. My weenies were dying from shocks and firebolts. It was a pretty solid deck so I didn't feel bad. But now I want to try and acquire the cards to make it a solid white weenie deck. I want to keep it straight white and am looking for suggestions.

Some cards to look at

Rares
Glorious Anthem
Divine Sacrament (not as good as the Anthem though, still not nuts about this card)
Glory (If you get him, you might want to get more Valors too)
Pianna (you can prob. get her pretty cheap)

Uncommons
2 Battle Screech (you need 4 of this card)
3 Chastise
4 Longbow Archers
1 Spurnmage Advocate

Commons
3 Tireless Tribe
1 Patrol Hound
2 Shelter (still solid)
4 Phantom Nomad (even if he doesn't go in the deck immediately, its worth having - a solid creature)

Personally, I'd try to stay away from trying to get threshold - the only way white can do it well is by dumping its hand to Tribes and such or by playing cantrip instants - and even playing both will take awhile.

I'd go after the uncommons first, as their are a few big ones that can help tremendously.

Try for the Battle Screeches and some Soulcatcher's Aeries...

These with the Glorious Anthems will make some very powerful birds.

I'm finding out lately that Animal Boneyard is pretty good also - before any of your creatures die you can Sac them and gain life...

If you run into some real heavy lad destruct as is what killed you in your example - Look for some Sacred Grounds. At least as a sideboard type card.

cards that didn't work for me.

Nomad Decoy - partly because I am not sure how I can make it stop at opponents upkeep but they are really not in fitting with the deck

Shieldmage Advocate. really doesn't work that well.

Unquestioned Authority. it is a good card but my guys are pretty easy to kill and it costs too much.

Selfless Exorcist- too expensive

cards that surprised me

Mystic penitent and Militant Monk. Being able to attack then tap them to flashback screech or strands was very good.

prismatic strands I like shelter a lot but I have a lot of respect of this. especially with all the burn I saw.

Guided strike- surprises aren't always nice.

4 Glorious Anthem
3 Shelter
4 Pacifism

4 Suntail Hawk
3 Dedicated Martyr
4 Longbow Archer
4 Phantom Nomad
3 Militant Monk
2 Lieutenant Kirtar
4 Battle Screech
2 Valor

23 Plains

Pacifism may seem like an odd choice, but cards like Wild Mongrel can and will eat this deck alive; truth be told, many decks will, but I feel this is the best chance White Weenie has right now.

I see no one's even mentioned Mystic Crusader yet, which surprises me and probably means one or both of two things:
1) It ain't as good as a lot of folks originally thought.
2) You can pick it up without too much effort.

It looks like a good card to me, though.

It may be a little harder to get, but a coat of arms would be nice,

Also, Divine Sacrament is pretty good considering you're playing all white.

Coat of Arms only randomly helps you, and even then only sometimes. And it costs 5 mana. And it's way pricey on MTGO. Not even close to worth the effort.

I like Glorious Anthem because many decks splash white, and helping your opponent is bad.

Coat of Arms is possibly one of the worse choices for stat boosters. Like Istanbul said, too pricey. And your creature types aren't all the same so it doesn't even maximize the effect. That, and you'll be helping your opponent a lot with it.

Though, train good idea with the Divine Sacrament. Only problem is getting threshold with such a deck. If you can threshold, its cool. Otherwise, better to have Glorious Anthem and keep from sharing at all.

I'm working on a white weenie (once I get done with my current Domain deck) and this thread has a ton of good ideas. :D

1 Border Patrol
1 Commander Eesha
2 Guided Strike
3 Militant Monk
1 Nantuko Monastery
3 Patrol Hound
2 Phantom Nomad
21 Plains
2 Prismatic Strands
1 Riftstone Portal
2 Shelter
1 Silver Seraph
2 Spurnmage Advocate
4 Suntail Hawk
1 Tireless Tribe
2 Valor

Riftstone Portal should be a basic Plains.

I'm not kidding. Your deck doesn't benefit at all from green mana, so you might as well just turn it into a land that gives you white mana.

I apologize. I didn't notice the Nantuko Monastery.

Still not worth it. If you draw one without the other, it's worthless...and each card is a one-of in your deck. Turn them into basic Plains.

actually I would if I had some more plains. But when I added the seraph I felt I needed some more land and these were it. But thanks for the comment. Did you want to trade some to me?
