MP: Thallid deck

[Spiderman]

Okey-dokey, I'm playing Magic tonight for the first time in two years and this is a deck I came up with in 30 minutes. I can't make the changes anyone suggests right now (since I'm at work) but will keep them in mind. This uses cards from sets pre-Mirage (despite that I have through Stronghold; they're in different boxes and I didn't feel like looking through them). This is not any particular format, although the Library is pretty much the only "power" card I have.

I expect this to be kinda multiplayer (I think it's going to be 2 on 2, though not Two-Headed Giant) but we might revert to duels.

Elvish farmer comes to mind, for the deck. Also, using stupid combos (hermit druid, which makes a land a forest, and the card that gives all your creatures foreswalk, for example) are always fun in this deck. Goblin bombardment is great. fecundity is nice. There's one enchantment card that says that during your upkeep, you put a token on a creature. When it dies, put saporliongs equal to the number of tokens into play. fun times. Especially with two, because EACH of them not only adds a token each upkeep, but puts saporlings equal to the number of tokens into play, meaning quadruple your fun.

Yeah, I thought I had some Elvish Farmers but they weren't with my Thallids and I couldn't spend too much time working on this. I was thinking of Hermit Druid too (and Thelonite Druid?); they might go in later instead of the Lumberjacks and Tinder Walls (although the Walls might be good for defense in MP). I'm not familiar with that enchantment you're talking about though.

Hidden Paths, I think it's called. An unknown rare from an early set, possibly ice age or legends.....

I thought he was refering to; Sporogenesis from Urza's Sage. Its
a great MP card.

If it's from Urza's Sage, I don't have it. Hidden Paths is the one that gives forestwalk, but it's from the Dark and don't got it

Yeah, sporogenesis was one of the cards. Hmm.... Well, pity you don't have it, it's so much fun in multiplayer. Meanwhile, I suggest The Best Fattie Ever Printed (Verdant Force!!!!)

Yeah, that'd be a good one to get.

Unfortunately, I played this first and the moment the first player saw the first Thallid, he said "token creature generators!" and I was a target for the rest of the game... maybe this shouldn't be MP...
